Who we are
Cash for iPhones Alberta is a small local business that buys and sells used iPhones and other electronics for cash. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect on this website
This website collects basic, anonymous usage analytics — things like how many people visited a page and roughly when. We use this only to understand whether the site is working and which pages people read.
We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell data to anyone, and we do not collect your name, email, or phone number through this website. There are no accounts, no forms, and no checkout here.
Contacting us by phone or text
If you call or text us at (XXX) XXX-XXXX, we keep your number in our call or message history so we can continue the conversation and arrange a meet-up. We don't add you to marketing lists and we don't share your number with third parties.
In-person transactions
All buying and selling happens in person, in Alberta. During a transaction we may ask to see government-issued photo ID and record basic details (such as your name and ID type) as part of our record-keeping for secondhand goods. This helps deter the sale of stolen devices and protects both of us.
Before we resell any device, it is factory reset. We never access, copy, or keep your personal data, photos, or accounts — we encourage you to remove your accounts and back up your phone before you sell it to us.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Records we are required to keep for legitimate business or legal reasons may be retained for a limited period.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
